vulnerary oviposition

vulnerary oviposition

Sunrise
red bricks two stories
tall and converted
to a throne
decorated the yard
* * * *
each time the chow
bell rang it meant
a guard had earned
a sting for his wings
* * *
the eldest prisoner
was crowned with
honey and layed
between the bricks
before the youngest
took his seat
* *
genuflection was
dégagé and rapture
brick and mortar
ward and warden
interchangeably
dry-walled
Sunset
