let me paint a sun
to find
the shadow artist

let me adorn a word
with passionate
promise

let me take a pill
to dream
the sea isn’t red

let me watch the rain
with enigmatic
hope

let me play the song
to find
the cohen in my heart

if it makes me cry
let me thunder

if it makes me smile
let me imagine
