lovingly running
our admiring
fingers on skin
finishing
with faint whispers
modest
inquiry casts
an undressing bed
unfolding light
in give a dam
gift boxes collecting dust
beneath our lips
flowers breathe content
in commentary soil
tasting the passengers’
fragments…
traveling companions fair
a distant kiss
Reflection
My first kiss, my first real kiss felt like something out of a movie. Not even breath felt real. When I first watched this video long ago, I was sad, unsure how to bring myself to smile at the end. It’s taken awhile, but I’ve learned it comes naturally, like love, and without need to fragment, isolate, define genres, story lines, or expressions. Love really is kind, and not just in the movies.
