Blog poetry WRITING

clay

clay

there’s no harm in
bringing water to
those huddled in
drying mud rooms
made of dying beggars
separated by ceremonies
of afternoon tea

inspiration
an anthology of painful poetry written by women living in Afghan, where romantic love is oft forbidden and the value of a woman is less than the weight of wind carrying her belief in the possibility of being more.
