
“I’m sorry,” he said.
“I once was too, but listen, there’s nothing to apologize for,” I answered.
“Sounds kinda cold,” he replied.
“Really? I didn’t mean it to sound that way. I just meant that, well, um, I guess I meant that whatever you do to me you do also to you, and whatever I do to you, I do also to me,” I explained.
He sighed before saying anything in return.
“I’m not even gonna ask what that means,” he smiled.
“Cause I’ll explain it anyway?” I asked laughing.
“Yeah, that,” he laughed.
“It means Love wins. Like always. It’s a statistical fact. I took a math class and got an A, so I’m basically right,” I explained.
“Good,” he laughed, “Really good.”
“I know. I am,” I laughed as we waved goodbye.
