progressive tip

their laughter and hers
transforms forgetfulness
into humor
while
each month the words
turn into pictures and
the pictures struggle to
become letters
in order to become
sound

thought
it’s progressive and difficult to laugh through, when words seem too scared to jump from precipice of mind to tip of tongue, but i’m betting this is how it goes – the simple becoming harder and harder to master in denial of difficulty’s curricula.
